1949 | Maffio Milesi founds the company in Barcelona

1950 | SEAT begins its production: 100% of the automobiles are equipped originally with drum brake shoes Galfer.

1955 | First drum brake shoe for motorcycles (Sanglas)

1965 | First disc brakes for (SEAT 124)

1978 | The second generation assumes direction of the company.

1980 | First disc brake pads for motorcycles. (Ducati)

1987 | First asbestos free friction material

1993 | Last friction material with asbestos.

1994 | Galfer develops the first disc brake pads for bicycles.

1996 | CMM Motocomponentes, S.L. is found, for the distribution in Spain of motorcycle products.

1998 | Galfer develops the WAVE disc brake and its patents in Europe and USA.
